Airport Surveillance Radar System

 Abstract: With the rapid development of modern warfare Low-Altitude Penetration Weapons and the gradual opening of my country's low-altitude airspace, civil air defense has put forward an urgent need for low-altitude and ultra-low-altitude early warning capabilities.




The low-altitude early warning radar uses advanced Phased Array Technology to control the beam of distributed T/R components to achieve elevation scanning, and improves measurement accuracy through vertical multi-wave position scanning and intra-wave position and difference beam angle measurement capabilities. The system adopts the wave position allocation method of 8 elevation beams.



In order to ensure sufficient pulse accumulation, the low beam is processed by MTD of three groups of 6-pulse filters, and the high beam is processed by 3-pulse MTI. In terms of processing algorithm, we adopt the design and algorithm of high clutter improvement factor, use clutter map and various threshold detection to improve the detection performance of low, slow and small targets, and finally develop a set of three-coordinate surveillance radar focusing on low-altitude small target observation
